Colour palette

Sydney architect Scott Weston is well known for his innovative use of colour. His renovation of a Victorian-era terrace is a sea of colour. And what colour! My favourite colour palette at the moment is red and pale blue with accents of black and white.

Images from Belle magazine, Australia.

And here are more red and blue inspirations……..

That is some gorgeous reno job in the first 4 photos!!! Blue and red is such a pretty combination – one of my favs. And that carpet in the first 3 photos is amazing! This is a great example of how colour can realy work to liven up a space and add personality.

Jhayne, I hope you will be posting pics on your blog when you’re done! (Love the idea of dark blue instead of black – it’s different – but strange coming from you!)

And it appears Pink finds these pics to be fun. 🙂

These images of blue/red interiors are fabulous. There’s a mid-century inspired chair at Room&Board that I love (but really only in blue), and even if I could afford it, I keep thinking of whether it would work in a room with a lot of red. So, photos like these give me ideas.

Sara, I figure as long as it’s not the only blue thing in the room, you’re good to go. A couple accessories in a similar blue would help tie it in. Glad our photos can help!
