Hotel Fox

Alot of people have heard of Hotel Fox and I know other blogs have posted some of the photos from their site but I figured I had to do a post because it is one of the most original hotels I have ever seen. Located in Copenhagen, it consists of 61 rooms decorated by 21 artists. “Each room is an individual piece of art. From whacky comical styles to strict graphic design. From fantastic street art and Japanese Manga to simply spaced out fantasies. You will find flowers, fairytales, friendly monsters, dreaming creatures, secrets vaults and…”. Well, here’s a taste of what you’ll find at Hotel Fox.

Are you allowed to switch rooms if you get a room that truly freaks you out? I think some of those rooms would give me nightmares!

I love them! I love this blog, too. Tres inspirational.

If I were to stay there I’d want a different room each night…pain to pack/unpack but worth it! Ya, that chick in the last pic would be nightmare material for sure! And thanks Kiwi!

I think the second photo – the one with the…nest?… in the corner of the wall/ceiling is the SCARIEST! That would be the one to give me bad dreams. But, many of the other ones, I likey.

Hmmm. I’ll take them all.

I love the idea of being able to spend a night in a room totally unique, and unlike any other. A hotel somewhat resembling something so original is thee historic Gladstone in Toronto, but this way-crazy concept just rocks!! It would be so fun to be a part of the original design framework, don’t you think?

I HAVE TO Admit, this hotel would be a sexy place to make love in. PURRRRRRRFECT.

I wonder… Does anyone know what material is used on the floors in picture one and the last to the left?

I just love these white shiny floors, but I have no idea how to recreate them.. Could anyone help?
