How much does this guy love chairs???

I found these photos a couple of years ago when I was searching for ideas for a tattoo as a tribute to my grandmother. I’ve been thinking about getting another tattoo…and these tattoos by Nick Baxter suddenly popped into my head (although I would not get chairs tattooed on me – too weird). These are so well done it’s incredible. The proud owner of these tattoos is a furniture design major. Go figure.

At least he has good taste in chairs! Too funny!

That tattoo artist is amazing. Too painful for me. I don’t even have my ears pierced.

Jo buddy are you serious? I didn’t know you haven’t got pierced ears! Gee, too bad you don’t live anywhere near me – cause I’d have you all pierced and tattoed. (I better not tell you how much my nose piercing hurt.)

Those aren’t real are they?

kim. says:

They sure are. Check the website I have linked in the post for the Nick Baxter’s work. SO COOL.

Actually, I am not a fan of tattoos, but who can deny the fact that this tattoo artist is amazingly talented! What detail! I have just done a series of chairs and am adding more to my Etsy site. How funny would it be to see someone with a bergere tattooed on their forearm! Great work on your blog, I will be visiting regularly and am delighted to have discovered you! All the best!

Can’t say I have ever seen a chair on someone’s arm!! Don’t know how I feel about this. lol They are done well,..but seems strange. lol I am thinking about getting a tattoo but I am undecided. No chairs thats for sure!! 😉

Amazing tattoo work. I’m heavily tattooed myself and these chair tattoos are some the most incredibly detailed pieces I’ve seen. Can’t say I’d ever get chairs though but I’d sure love to know why this guy did!

(Adore the blog by the way – thanks so much!)

kim. says:

Thanks Anne and jo-anne for the blog appreciation. Jessie – you should soooooo get a tattoo. But beware, they are highly addictive (right jo-anne?)!

jo-anne says:

You’re very welcome Kim! And yes, they are VERY addictive Jessie, careful!
