Antonia Hutt’s understanding of the exceptional and her love for refinement are the core of her design philosophy. So says her website and I think these pictures reinforce that belief. These jewel like spaces speak of her training in the arts, silversmithing, jewellery and allied crafts. Her grounding in fine antiques led her into interior architecture. Based in Los Angeles her work draws on her exceptional taste and wealth of experience.

I would totally love to have any one of these rooms (except maybe that kitchen). I see lots of great chairs and some art I know Jo loves (#3).

Haha Kim! Yes bus/tram rolls in picture 3. Love their graphic quality.

Oh my… I never saw a hanging bubble chair look so inviting! Those creamy pillows look great, not at all the Barbarella look you usually see. Now, I want one!

what I find most interesting about these rooms is that the individual pieces are not ones I would immediately select. But as a cohesive grouping they are sensational.

It just goes to show you the difference between interior design and interior decorating. Antonia is clearly more than just a ‘good shopper’ – as evidenced by her well thought out spaces.

nice find!
