Gotta love Saturday!

Just bought these little beauties for $40 AUS for the 4. Thats about $34 US. Shame that they weren’t all the same but at $10 AUS a chair who cares. A local designer was having a showroom sale and these were buried down the back. Brought them out into the light and they were mine. Now I just have to get them home. Thinking lacquered chartreuse with patterned navy and white cushions. Three for my patio area in the courtyard and one in the bathroom maybe. Also scored 10 metres of outdoor UV resistant upholstery in a thin navy stripe on the roll for $200 and he threw in a lovely jade and bone calligraphy brush for $10. I love Saturdays.

Great find!!!!!!! I am going to some yard sales today too, hopefully I am lucky! 😉

Great score! You can find cool things at the flea markets here in NYC, but not at that kind of price. I’m jealous.

I also kind of like that it’s not a perfectly matched set. Once you have them painted and upholstered, they’ll be visually unified, and the mismatch will provide interest. It’s eclectic, yet harmonious.

Oh Jo CONGRATS!!! These are gorgeous – what a find for downtown Brusvegas!!!

What fun so score like that and every time you look at those chairs in years to come you will remember today. what stories you will have to weave around them.

I think, interesting that they are all different!
Lucky you! Great deal!

I am so jealous right now! I went to about 10 yard sales looking for white vintage chairs, and ended up with a vintage camera. Nice score, Jo!

These are an unusual find here in downtown Brisbane. I am so happy to get them. I’ll post photos when they’re done. The seats are off. They’ve been cleaned and sanded. Knowing my luck that’s the way they’ll stay for a few more weeks!

I like them better not matching. Very jealous.

I have been looking for those exact chairs for a year now, I guess I am on the wrong continent! Chartreuse with blue and white sounds gorg, can’t wait to see the finished product! I am glad I found your blog!

and yes, i like them better with one odd one. a bit surprising…

also like the colors youre thinking about…i’ve been very hot on navy lately.
