Old houses modern living

I thought I’d share more amazing Brisbane homes currently on the market. The first is a late 19th century workers cottage in an inner city suburb. A lovingly restored old house with a fabulous 21st century addition. Old houses like this are in conservation areas and maintaining an authentic street presence is paramount. What a funky way to increase space while leaving the heritage house intact.

The second house is an a much sort after well heeled suburb. It’s a federation style house probably from the first couple of decades of the 20th century. Here the extensions pay homage to the original building while providing the much coveted outdoor space that Queenslanders must have. We live outdoors almost year round!
