Reed Davis

I’m in love with photographer Reed Davis’ portfolio. He has captured light like alabaster (check his still life work for actual photos of alabaster – stunning!) or is it that the rooms are suspended in the light. I can’t put it in to words. Just too gorgeous. Make sure you check out his still life work as well.

Someone rocked this place out

Check out this South Beach loft that has quite the rock/punk decor scheme. It’s 1250 sq. ft. with a 600 sq ft. terrace, and is available for photo shoots. I imagine some parties have been had in this place. (Note: it’s got my favourite carpet of all time in the living room).

James Magni

Luxury, elegance, global modernism, sexy and extremely expensive. These are words to describe the amazing work of architect and interior designer James Magni. Named one of Architectural Digest’s “Top 100” designers his work is sinuous, sophisticated and sleek marrying his wealthy clients’ art work with antiques and his own exquisitely crafted furniture. That spiral staircase makes my interior designer’s heart skip a beat. One can but dream.

Art on the floor

I received an email from Kersti Ericsson of HZL by Henzel, a Swedish company that produces these stunning and unique rugs. HZL by Henzel is built upon a foundation of creativity and a desire to make rugs a key element of interior design. They call their handmade rugs bespoke tailoring for you floor. Around 40 percent of their rugs are made to order, mostly in collaboration with interior designers and architects, although special and wonderful requests from the general public include portraits and reproductions of children’s drawings. Definitely out of the ordinary, definitely gorgeous!

Kristian Septimius Krogh

The photography of Kristian Septimius Krogh is absolutely mesmerizing. I adore white Scandinavian-style spaces, and all of these (except one) are the epitomy of Scandinavian beauty. The beautiful lighting highlights the white and gives such a calming feeling. *sigh*
