You know that feeling when you make a connection with a photograph. When you are flicking through the pages of one of your favourite magazines and there’s an image that stays with you long after you’ve put it down. Way way back in early January 2007 I scanned and uploaded an image of a vintage map quilt to my flickr account that caused some interest. Part of the Elle Decoration feature on gallery Caparrelli the images included wonderful artwork by Susan Stockwell (those are her map dresses). Now I know who the photographer is. Viewing Sean Myers’ portfolio is like revisiting old favourites. He photographed that story that I loved so long ago. He also took the amazing photos of a quirky Japanese retro styled home that I have loved for ages. You’ll have to go to his portfolio to see those. While you are there you must must must see his personal work capturing a quirky and inspirational Greenwich House. I have loved his work for so long. Now I have the name!
