DC Design House bedroom

Brocky Proxmire wrote us about the bedroom his mother, interior designer Kelley Proxmire, designed for the DC Design House. It’s stunning, so elegant and sophisticated, and had a special feature: “The big hit of the room was the now you watch it (#7) now you don’t (#8) TV. The TV is mounted on a swing arm behind the drapery panels. There is a slit in the drapery panel on the end so that swing arm may be extended several inches into the room. The size of TV (19″) is correct size for this distance of TV viewing from the bed.” Brilliant! Thanks Brocky (and Kelley!)

Awesome idea about the television. So simple but genius.

What a gorgeous room. Would love to know what the blue paint color is! Any guesses?

I was at this house last month (it’s a few blocks from my office) -i can tell you this room is STUNNING. The designer was also in the room at the time and she was just so sweet and proud of her work. The entire house is stunning! If you get a chance look up more photos from it!

So jealous that you’ve seen the house. Knew Kelley had to be a darling because her son Brocky seems such a gentleman!

This bedroom is just frothy delicious goodness. I would probably never leave this room.

🙂 Never thought of that idea before, that’s a great one.

It is begging to be slept in, isn’t it? So dreamy.
