Funky home in Germany

Posted on Mon, 10 Aug 2009 by KiM

Artist, designer and art director Mike Meiré lives in a funky, creative home in Cologne, Germany with his wife and 3 kids. It’s a very eclectic and quirky home that is clearly a source of inspiration for the homeowner. I reeeeeeally love the kitchen – consisting only of some shelves, a huge island and some dressers.

Mmmm, great light fixtures all over.

Funky indeed, but oh so cool! I agree with Virginia, great light fixtures in this space.

Serious art collectors here. Perhaps I too will draw the line at the Hirst piece 🙂

NICE! The space is just fantastic…the size of that kitchen and the tall ceilings , wow. They are so daring…i like that they dont hold back on the kind of art they place in their home even with kids.
