Unexpected modern

This 18th century home in Paris is quite unexpectedly filled with modern and mid-century furnishings and funky art installations. I love the eclectic mix inside and the juxtaposition to the exterior (which I had to include a photo of as it makes me somewhat claustrophobic).

Via AT Casa

From that view, I'm pretty certain that this is my dream location! *Swoon*

I love the flooring. The decor is modern, but not avant garde, so it's warm and welcoming. I love it!

perfect. warm, light and bright. a nice reno of what looks like a classic haussmann apt. merci!

Gorgeous! The art is to die for.

It's a beautiful apartment and the parquet floors are lovely. However, that chaise lounge has to go! lol….

I wonder if it's possible to seperate the multi-coloured chair so that it's smaller…

Thanks Anon – glad someone is paying attention and catching my mistakes.

To me the library is an eye-catcher. I would enjoy to lay down on the friendly coloured lounging sofa and read a book in the ray of light from the lamp. And the unobtrusive picture in this room compared to the "blue" photograph in the entry.. great!

drooling!
