White, after labour day

Posted on Tue, 8 Sep 2009 by KiM

To ease you back into a thankfully short work week (those that celebrated Labour Day that is), here is a restored Victorian villa on the British island of Guernsey that is bathed in white. Simply beautiful and totally cozy.

This made me smile – and not only because it is so lovely, but also because I recently finished reading "The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society"! The book was wonderful, by the way 🙂

What a lovely old house!

Love the white look with the splashes of bold primary colors, really great!

love it

The light blue wall in the last image gives such softness with the white towels/blankets!

Such a dream! It looks so light and cozy! I also like the little ships&ocean-details

I love the flag bunting in the kitchen — makes it feel like a party everyday.

Such a cottage feel! All of the furniture looks so comfortable.

This just proves the point, precisely! What fantastic images of post-Labor Day white. I love it.

Cheers.
