Storm Interiors

Lara Fishman founded her design firm Storm Interiors in 2000. Located in Los Angeles, her firm has had a variety of projects – executive offices, residences, restaurants, medical offices etc. Traditional, rustic, regency, old Hollywood, contemporary….no style seems off limits to Lara and her team. The icing on the cake would have to be Lara’s secondary firm, Designers Call, founded on the philosophy that high-end interior design should be accessible to those without the budgets or time for the traditional design process. Lara converted a Mercedes/Dodge Sprinter into a mobile design studio in order to bring fast, affordable decorating services and design products straight to her clients’ homes. Genius! Here’s a small taste of some of the beautiful spaces in her portfolios.

I somehow managed to comment the wrong post. I just realized the comment area is not on top of the post. It doesn’t really matter cause I liked them both, but this is just breathtaking

awesome portfolio! you’re definitely right on in stating she does any style, not a one note designer. The first image top left reminds me a lot of Hollywood regency. Gorgeous!

Tony Lawrence says:

Love the work of storm interiors, the playfulness of textures and objects changes the mood and creates unexpected surprises in space. Love the vibrant colors used along with the alteration of the traditional fabrics in some of the mid century modern furniture. The juxtaposition of void and solid along with patterns and light make the spaces interesting and fresh. Great job Love it

Just when I thought my love for hollywood regency was waning I see fabulous rooms like these! What I really want to say though is "Hello tuft love!" That daybed/loveseat/bench is adorable.

Fresh look spaces, I like them!

I’d just like to say that the new site design is growing on me (although I liked the personality of the old site — sigh) and a soft, greyed blue-green is the color I expect heaven to provide in all private living quarters. Away from that garish faux-gold stuff littering the public areas. And it’s nice to get a few tastes of it while still inhabiting heck’s half-acre. So, thanks.
