Sort of patchwork

I saw the following photo on Sköna hem and had to post it as Jo and I are huge fans patchwork sofas. While I don’t love the florals used, the other fabrics are working for me and it looks so loungey and comfortable. I also love that it has no legs. That way all the cat toys don’t collect underneath. 🙂 (I know, this isn’t a full post but it’s Sunday night and frankly I’m dying to try out this cake-in-mug-recipe before it gets too late.)

Love it! So cozy + cute!!

A patchwork sofa reminds me of all the couches I’ve been on throughout my world travels. It suggests time, love, presence, family by its colorful imperfections.

Transporting, no?

Being Swedish myself I’m happy to see a post referring to one of my favorite design magazines at home. Swedish interiors are very much about comfort, generally very casual and in today’s family ALWAYS practical! The white painted floor and the white painted walls are not always a design choice but a must in Sweden to bring light to interiors. This time of the year there are only 3-4 hours of sunlight a day!

i’m with you on the florals but the eclectic blend makes it work. along with the white walls and the jielde lamp (that i can’t seem to get enough of these days)

midcenturyjo says:

Yes please … to the sofa and the cake.

Cussot says:

Hmm, if it weren’t for the rather tall husband, I’d be whipping the legs off my couch to give that look a try …

brandeye says:

the sofa, the floor, the table, the LAMP! i love it all!
