…. from my collection of “evil” vintage Santas.

WINKS – weekend links. Here we list what has come in during the week, things we’ve found and things we think you’ll want to see. If you’d like to see your blog or website featured email us and if we think it fits with our readers we’ll link you. So what’s in this week?

  • Vintage Industrial Hardwood Slab Industrial Workshop desk. Steel factory base with time worn patina. Sigh! At Factory20. I’m currently lost in the lighting section if someone wants to come find me. Is there such a thing as lamp lust?

  • This is about the only Hedge Fund I’ll be investing in at the moment. Watch your money grow in these tough economic times.

  • And to go with our tea towel chairs? These simply stunning chandeliers by Marie Christophe. Please Evil Santa please!

  •  The Ignatius Bed by Stone Blitzer. Made from reclaimed douglas fir (gym bleachers from St Ignatius College, Chicago) and soon from other timbers. Rugged and clean lined.

1950s tall versions of the classic metal Texaco Gas plates. Thin pressed metal. 1,2,2 available. 31"x10" $125 each. ?!?
Or a vintage Smith-Corona, useful as a paperweight, for $375? How about a weather-damaged and untuneable guitar, for $275? Oh, you have got to be kidding me! And I LOVE industrial! Just not the industry that supplies it to trend-setting home owners, I guess. The lamps and tables are very nice, and more reasonable.

You had me at tea towels and chandeliers!
