Buckingham Interiors + Design

Posted on Tue, 29 Dec 2009 by midcenturyjo

The Christmas card elves dropped a little e-card in my inbox on Christmas Eve.  Julia Buckingham Edelmann of Buckingham Interiors + Design was wishing us season’s greetings and let slip the exciting news that she has a new website. Love a new website especially with new work and, of course, I love Julia’s work which she has generously shared with us before (here). Now that the holiday chaos has settled I finally got a chance to check it out. I couldn’t wait till regular posting next week to share. Julia’s work mixes classic with contemporary, elegance with a twist of fun. In fact she really lets her hair down when it comes to her commercial work!

Dear readers gather round. Time for the third installment in our holiday reading guide. I hope you’re not too exhausted from your blog hopping. No! If you’re anything like me you can’t get enough of new blogs.  It’s like chocolate coated almonds at Christmas time. Too many is never enough. Here we go……

Some favourite living rooms of 2009

Posted on Sun, 27 Dec 2009 by KiM

These are some of my ultimate living/lounge rooms. I love that they are very casual, and beckon you to come in and put your feet up. Some are rustic and earthy which I am always drawn to. And all are bathed in neutrals – white/beige/cream with timber flooring and some great rugs.

Day two of our blog-a-rama. I hope you’ve saved room. (If I see one more chocolate or ham sandwich I’ll be sick. I love Christmas but it’s hard going at times!) Once more dear readers settle in for a trip across the world and back. Enjoy and see you for more tomorrow.
