Clever use of space with interesting storage solutions. Midcentury meets contemporary, modern urban with a clean lines. New York interior designer Robert Austin Gonzalez delivers rooms that scream stylish Big Apple apartment. I personally want the carved timber panel as sliding door, a great counterpoint to the midcentury modern vibe. Clever TV solutions too. While you’re at his website you must check out his furniture collection particularly the Grace range. Sculptural pieces so sexy and sinuous. Yum!

This post is full of inspirations, especially the painting on the brick wall that can be pushed to one side to reveal the TV. Totally luminous! Thanks for sharing it with us.(:

So…when can I move in?

Everything is so bold!

I have to say it! I am more than over the couch-coffee table-two chairs thing. Tell me this is a grouping that EVER matches or facilitates a social situation! It’s as reactionary as a tea partier, it’s as pointless as an indoor windchime.

That said, I adore long, low storage. And the off-center unshrining of the television is absolutely brilliant — you don’t even notice the lack of adoration, despite the ubiquitous multitudiousness. 🙂

Oh, the wavy chandelier. That’s not a design for the ages, is it?

Tonia says:

I love the carved panel, WOW! It’s amazing the things that people find and use to personalize their spaces.
