Alexander van Berge

A new week here on DTI. A new week with so much promise. Let’s start with a photographer with a stellar portfolio. Alexander van Berge takes a space and captures its personality. These are not stilted “architectural” photographs. They explore the “life” and the beauty of the room. Owners have just moved out of shot and van Berge invites us into the space. So much to love in these rooms.

I love his use of different tones of greys and whites….so soothing and chic.

Aron says:

I would love someone to come do that to our place! (not that it would look like that!) I really like the top left collection of frames. What great photographs!

so many art walls! i’m in heaven. the one in the foyer is spectacular!

KiM says:

(I fixed the jump link).

Emily says:

Looking at these makes me dream of making images like this! Have you ever asked any of the photographers you feature to give us a glimpse into their process, and interaction with the designers they work with? It would be fabulous to have some insight into the incredible portfolios you feature!

Maura says:

I felt in love with the kitchen sink.

Brooke says:

These are great shots of an amazing house.

Rachel says:

I love the lines in these photos, from the staircases to the floor tiles to the rafters, not to mention the beautiful space itself. oh, and I want that burner.

kim says:

the zhush says:
