A Mark Zeff project

Posted on Thu, 8 Sep 2011 by KiM

I have been a fan of Mark Zeff‘s work since I blogged about him back in ’07. His firm sent along photos of one of his latest projects and I was more than eager to share these with you all. This is the lower levels of a rather large townhouse in SoHo owned by Vikram Chatwal (of Hampshire Hotel Group). It’s unmistakably a bachelor pad (hello photography of topless chicks and what looks like a surfboard in the hallway) but I really like the equal parts funk and contemporary. It’s a cool blend, and seems like the perfect place to entertain.

LOVE this space – such a manly space – IN love!

I love it. Every single picture has something I would just die for. The walls of windows are my favorite, but I love the modern take on mirrored walls too.

Very masculine but I love masculine homes. Favourites: the cowhide rug, silver cabinet?, wall of windows, leather, trunk, surfboard and artwork in hall and that wall……… so much to take from this. I probably wouldn't have a spotlight on Pammy's boobs but I can think of a few people who'd appreciate it. lol! 🙂

To die for. Masculine and smart. All it needs is my purse and shoes near the coffee table, some cookbooks and a few flowers and I would feel right at home.

I love how that photo is strategically spotlighted. Very nice.

Fierce!
