Through the lens of Mark Gregory Peters

It is no secret that Kim and I have a more than healthy respect for photographers. It is through the lens that we slip into a room like Alice down the rabbit hole. A beautiful home exists in a specific space and time and we will never get to experience it except through images. Not just any images today. Wonderful, evocative photographs by American born but Barcelona based Mark Gregory Peters. Light and shade, composition and angle, texture and earthy colours. Spare almost but magical.

Me gusta especialmente el uso de maderas nobles y colores tierra, el refinamiento de piezas exquisitas y los suelos. Magníficas imágenes. Besos.

Pity that Mark Gregory Peters had to use the head of a murdered animal in his photography. I absolutely found the rest of it very well done with the use of raw woods and white accents. The black-board backsplash and wood vignettes with the cat on the counter is awesome.

The use of our fellow animals's body parts in design or photography is not awesome. What reaction would a human head displayed on a wall provoke, I wonder or a cat or dog, for that matter?

These lovely spaces actually look like homes as well as beautiful designs. All except that all white kitchen, wtf is going on there? Love the kitchen kitty. Is he our pet on furniture for today?

Oh, I do like the splashes of red and orange throughout!
