Michael Penney is a decorator, stylist, blogger, former magazine editor at Canadian House & Home and is a soon-to-be shop owner. He is also a big fan of DIY projects, including dip-dye drapes that he did for H&H mag that I fell in love and have been wanting to do ever since.
I have been a fan of his work for some time as he’s clearly got a great eye for design, creates relaxed yet sophisticated spaces and I think I can safely say that the photos below are going to make you want to start re-decorating!
Cute, retro, eclectic and palest purple. Wish I was a little girl again. Sweet dreams captured by photographer Petra Bindel. Fabulous like fairy floss!
“Celebrating the poetics and prosaics of the domestic.” Tribe Studio Architects. Energetic, optimistic, simply beautiful. Modern homes with clean lines, clever storage solutions, light, bright, sustainable. Youth and enthusiasm combined with talent. A stellar design combo.
The following photos were submitted by a photographer we’ve featured before, Jansje Klazinga. Located in a former state building in Bloemendaal, Holland it is the home of Bianca, owner of an awesome online shop called A Day with Kate. Beautiful photos of a lovely home – hope to see many more photos if it ends up in a magazine!
