Thomas Kröger

Berlin architect Thomas Kröger. Love the brevity of line, the use of positive and negative, the clean minimal look accentuated by colour. These are stylish contemporary spaces that are strong in their subtlety, clever in their use of materials and colour blocking to delineate and accentuate.

Books and papa bear chairs everywhere. /sigh/ It's like heaven. I love the shocking red cave, it's so organic. There's such an elegance in the proportions, it feels like a throw-back to the 1800's, but of course the clean edge of the lines is very modern. These aren't designs for the uber-rich, but there's so much room for movement, and the set-ups are so practical. Nooks should be mandatory! I can see that the last picture isn't a loft, but if I had a loft? That would be it. I just know there are books behind all those tidy cupboard doors.

Very nice find! Love all of these spaces

Amazing! I love the big, open spaces, the bookshelves. And the inside (or should I say the outside) of the house… it's like a modern riad.
