Candy colour modern

Posted on Mon, 14 May 2012 by midcenturyjo

It’s a candy floss coloured carnival ride of an interior. Minimal in essence but packing a colour punch like a sugar hit. Restraint is hyped with pastels and texture. It’s like a kid on red cordial. High high high. Who else but the Brazilian king of brevity with levity and sexiness with a purpose? Studio Guilherme Torres. See our previous posts here and here.

Loved the painting with the boy jumping to the pool. Do you happen to know who is the artist?

great work! a fridge as a focal point… I like that

Sue says:

Stunning. Love the dining room table, and then into the bedroom without the candy colours.

KitzieG says:

@Dion, I don't think it is the same artist, but the style is similar to Clare Elsaesser. You can find her work at http://www.etsy.com/shop/tastesorangey

Gafa says:

The collage of the boy jumping is by Brazilian artist Joao Machado.
