As oposite as they are, I'm in love with the entrances via Jordi Canosa and via z axis design. The first one is pure light and yellowish white colors and wood; while the second one is dark stone, black and glass. Love them both!

Number 1 is my favorite!! The tile is to die for and works so well with the pattern on the door and the tree wallpaper, and then the pop of red in the chandelier!

So many awesome light fixtures!

The world needs more swivel doors. They must be so *satisfying* to use — whoosh! Eklund's brilliant white entry with spots of color — oh, yes. (And incidently, shows yet again that emerald is a color to be used SPARINGLY.)
Can we please admit that scattering a hundred small photographs from ankle height to 20 feet above eye level is at best ridiculous, at worst rather rude? After all, if the event or person captured for posterity meant anything to the homeowner, then the image would be displayed where it could actually be seen. Bit of a pet peeve for me.
The chalkboard entry is brilliant — I love putting every inch of space to a real use.

I LOVE that blue accent wall/staircase combo! That is some great out-of-the-box thinking.

Some fantastic inspirational stair and hallway designs. I particularly love the staircase design in Messana O'Rorke post. Some great ideas, thanks!

I like more of a black and white. Bur for staircases I like to keep it brownish.
