A colourful apartment

I found this fun apartment while doing some blog research and had to share. The 65m2 space is located in Villefranche-sur-Mer, France and is the creation of Turin, Italy based architecture firm MG2 Architetture. It’s a funky blend of modern and mid-century, bold and sassy colour and some of my all-time favourite lighting.

And a little bonus – a couple of extra spaces I found in their portfolio that caught my eye.

Lara says:

Love the colors they used! And indeed gorgeous lighting and chairs

JAY says:

Man oh man, those walls.

From one angle, a homey eat-in kitchen and comfy couch. From another angle, an exotic space with a vibrant wash of color that ought to be too much, but isn't. And such a view! I do think the desk and TV thingie are over-egging the mix; the modernism of the table and couch is enough. From the backseat, I would substitute primitive pieces, to support the tone introduced by that lovely column of rock. I wonder if the bedroom has a matching shiny picture wall?

The patterns in the dining chairs are amazing! 🙂
