Stalking leftovers

Posted on Sat, 22 Feb 2014 by midcenturyjo

Busy day. In a rush. You know the story. I’m fussy. You like to look anyway 🙂 Not quite right, bad photos, I need more photos please, house is amazing furniture is deplorable or no furniture at all! Can’t quite put my finger on it listings with something that has me nodding “yes”. This week’s leftovers include a penthouse apartment with a fab Sydney harbour view, a cute little art deco flat, a spiral staircase that is a work of art and speaking of art let’s dance. More from Guilherme Torres

Posted on Fri, 21 Feb 2014 by KiM

Brazilian architect/designer Guilherme Torres has a distinctive style that I love – industrial elements (hellooooo concrete – love the lighting strip), bold colour accents (often entire walls), large graphic artwork, and modern furnishings (see previous post here). Here are two apartments from his portfolio (both located in São Paolo, the first is 86 m² and the second is 49 m²). I seem to have an eclectic theme going on today, as it doesn’t get more eclectic than this! Happy Friday!

Eclectic

I think it’s a safe bet to call these quirky spaces captured by Italian photographer Cristina Fiorentini eclectic. There is even a tree in the middle of someone’s living room. My cats would LOVE that!

Did you love the home in last week’s sneak peek inside the pages of Inside Out? It’s the Daylesford home of interior designer Kali Cavanagh and you can rent it for a getaway. I’m thinking girls weekend. You in? Vintage House Daylesford.

P.S. To celebrate being featured in the magazine (and the cover no less) Vintage House Daylesford is giving away a 2 night stay. Details here.
