It’s Wednesday. The middle of a long working week. Hump day. Need a little daydream to make it through the day, the week? Time to take a virtual holiday to the Dalmatian coast of Croatia. To a simple stone house, to Kuća Kamena in Novigrad (of Croatia’s four Novigrads this one is the one that is famous for not being famous). Wow! I'll be there in my dreams… Sometimes we get so caught up in the new and ephemeral, ooh-ing and aah-ing over the latest bling and "eye candy". And then a place like this comes along to remind us of the very essence of home, the beauty of simplicity, and how the expression of true taste requires little more than an informed eye and respect for history.
