Happy Friday folks! It is going to be a sunshine-filled, HOT weekend here in Ottawa so despite having a bad sore throat, I plan on enjoying it (tomorrow is the Etsy: Made in Canada show, then dinner at Café My House, and my niece’s first birthday party Sunday). I leave you with some interior eye candy care of New York photographer Miki Duisterhof (featured eons ago here).
Toronto interior designer Lauren Flax of Flax-Design sent over some photos from her portfolio yesterday to share on the blog. She has a great eye and her eclectic sensibility resonates with me. Helping to keep T Dot hip 🙂
House and garden, inside and out, steel and glass, concrete and timber intersect to create a grand design. Casa Bacopari by São Paulo based UNAArquitetos.
I have been thinking alot about rugs lately, as they will be a great temporary solution to hiding the gawd-awful yellow/orange stained hardwood I have going on in my new house. It had been a while since I shared a rug roundup so I am due for an update. (And if I am lucky maybe one day I will train my cats to STEP AWAY FROM THE RUGS before they barf…which is one of the reasons why I will never be able to buy a coveted beni ourain)
