usually go for more layers of stuff but the simplicity in these is so perfect and serene without being boring at all.

Wonderful! Love how they combine high-end materials (the marble, or what looks like it, in the 3rd pic from last) with cheaper things (the black-and-white stripe rug from Ikea in pics 1-4 – we have the very same one in our bedroom). The houses where everything just screams money bore me, this is way to do it so much better.
