…having a little kitchen dining nook with banquette seating. This little spot surrounded by windows is a dream I have had for as long as I can remember.
…mudrooms. A home for all those coats and winter paraphernalia and wet snowy boots and cat leashes. Where the floors won’t get destroyed. Where my husband and I can enter the house and remove our outerwear without bashing into each other. I have not had that in about 8 years. 🙁 Yes, I also dream of mudrooms.

The people with that mudroom must be so rich they can afford a stylist to arrange their kids' stuff "just so" after they get home from lacrosse practice. When I was growing up our mudroom lived up to its name.

If it was richy rich me and my mudroom then I'd fire my stylist because the red things should be together; boots and shoes should always be facing out and square with the wall; and if I told them once, I told them a thousand times, please do not rest little Carson's and Seraphina's lacrosse sticks against the white walls without their velvet covers. 🙂
A fan of spacious mudrooms and little windowed breakfast areas. Lovely shots.

LOL. I love this cute dining nook and this mudroom is a place where I would keep everything. Like, everything. Even mother in law would fit there nad maybe leave sooner our home.
