If you would like to participate in the Monday’s pets on furniture series please send photos, your name, location and a brief description to kim[@]desiretoinspire[.]net. Thanks!

My babies get on anything they can.  They enjoy lounging.  Elmo and Simon are watching me iron.  Doesn’t seem to bother them that I am working.
– Donna

I thought I’d submit a photo of my cat Mozzarella, lounging on the executive wingback chair I just got on https://www.ebth.com/ for a steal! 🙂 (And yes, my pillow is of a llama wearing an ugly Christmas sweater – ha!)
– Kim (Cincinnati, Ohio)

This is our boxer Nelson (19 months old). This used to be “his” chair when he was a puppy. It doesn’t look very comfortable for his size, but he makes it work when he curls up like a feline 🙂 We got the chair for free online and the quality is great.
..and sometimes he rests his head on the armrest. He has open access to our couch and bed, but sometimes returns to his old chair.
– Marianne (Bergen, Norway)

This is our cat Lovely Laura. We have adopted her from our local animal shelter because she was the friendliest cat in the shelter. She absolutely loves this chair and ever since I bought it she took over it and made it her favorite place to lounge.
P.S. I would love to know more about the chair if anybody knows of it’s designer, please let me know, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.
– Vicka (Washington D.C.)

Rico’s havin’ a ball after hours of swimming, fetching, frolicking and bird chasing. It’s a dog’s life!
– Greta (Waterloo, Ontario)

I picked up this Plycraft chair this weekend at the Etsy/Handmade Harvest show conveniently at Wiseman + Cromwell‘s booth next to ours. LOVE IT! So do the cats. Mimin has been on it for hours now. (Also bought a 12 serving gorgeous brass plated nickel cutlery set that is to die for)

Noelia says:

I loved them so much! <3

Ruth says:

Everybody brings a smile to my face. Mozzarella, great name! Nelson, awwwwww, so cute.

Susanne says:

Kim, where did you get that cat tree (next to Mimin)? I'm looking for modern cat furniture that will blend in with my modern furniture, and not the typical carpet covered trees. Thanks!

KiM says:

Susanne, I feel your pain. When I spotted this one at a shop in Montreal I nearly died. I can NEVER find decent cat trees. It's by Vesper and I just did a quick google search – see here.

Susanne says:

Kim thank you so much! I looked Vesper up and I think I can buy here in California. Finally a nice looking cat tree! Thanks again.
