A kitchen remodel in white

Posted on Mon, 21 Mar 2016 by KiM

Yet another brilliant remodel by Studio McGee. This one I am completely envious of. This kitchen is so bright and the timeless and the attention to detail is spot on. Brass accents bring it to another level of fabulousness. I am envious of the space – to fit an island with bar stools, a little entryway to store shoes and coats, a built-in desk area and laundry! OMG! My kitchen is the size of the average bathroom. Yes, this kitchen would be a dream come true.

A Studio McGee refresher – Lynwood remodel

Posted on Mon, 21 Mar 2016 by KiM

It has been a little while since I featured some designs by Salt Lake City’s interior design firm Studio McGee (here and here), so I thought I would share a bit more because it’s sooooo good. Their Lynwood remodel project really caught my eye – in their typical bright, lively, timeless style with a kitchen that is fairly simple but a dream nevertheless, and bathrooms to envy. I love every bit of this.

Paris Commune

Not the 19th century radical socialist French uprising (OK I’m just showing off here). No it’s a Parisian apartment by LA based design firm Commune. Open plan living unified and delineated by oak joinery and a fabulous floor tile. Very French in a very Californian way. Stylish, chic, contemporary living.

What a week! PHEW! These warm, serene spaces filled with earthy, soothing shades of cream, grey and brown are absolutely stunning and the ultimate way to start into the weekend. I really love Michael Del Pietro‘s style (as does Jo – see last couple of features here and here) and her vignette below is HOW YOU DO THAT. Happy Friday!
