Personal space

What does your personal space say about you? Are your surrounds like a window on your soul? If I looked at pictures of your home could I weave a story about who you are, your loves, your hopes, your life? Just these few images of South African designer David Strauss‘ home tells me so much yet leaves enough for me to want to know more. Mysterious, moody, artistic, lover of simple luxuries.

I do love the moodiness and style of this home– and I can't believe I'm saying this, but maybe a few more windows.. I hope he's inviting us all for whatever he's cooking up there!

A lovely home, thank you… moody, stylish, no doubt exciting to catch all the different light phases passing through each day. My home? That would best be described as aspirational – lacking the $$$ to express who we as a family are. It doesn't. It is simply the best we can do. I need another lifetime!
