Sunset Magazine idea house by Geremia Design

The narrative of the Sunset Bay Area Idea House grew through an embrace of the Northern Californian lifestyle that values fine art, craft, fresh produce, and nature. The curated interior features innovative materials & artisan finishes to promote warmth to the contemporary shell. The light oak floors and warm white walls provide a soft backdrop for rich wall coverings, custom millwork & newly introduced Heath tile to color the home. A William Morris print serves as a nontraditional kitchen backsplash and a metallic Brasscloth by Calico on the master bedroom ceiling subtly fades in tone, drawing your eye to the striking view of the San Francisco Bay. The design intention was to connect the Sunset Brand to the Geremia aesthetic, offering an opportunity to juxtapose accessible furnishings with curated pieces from our artisan friends and vintage resources. A number of Bay Area artists are represented through fine art, custom textiles, ceramics and process work direct from their studio. A beautiful home with beautiful views.
