A renovated 1940’s home in Seattle

When unexpected styles collide. A fabulous home designed by Seattle-based Brio Interior Design. A 1940’s home where the client’s mother spent her teenage years was purchased from the grandfather’s estate shortly after his passing. The purchase and renovation were a way to reinvent history by making an old home new again for the young family who decided the house carried too many precious memories to be sold to the next highest bidder. Perched atop a generously sized waterfront lot in north Seattle with panoramic views of the Puget Sound, the Olympic Peninsula and Olympic mountain range, the aesthetic of the home is classic meets modern and eclectic. It’s fun, colorful and whimsical. Perfect for a family that dines most days together in a formal dining room around a table that family members have gathered at for decades to celebrate the best things in life.
