Little Black Shack

Yesterday I stalked a multi-million dollar house on Sydney’s Pittwater, all black and glass and steel. It was fabulous no doubt but I’ll let you into a secret. I’m a simple girl who likes simple things, beautiful, simple things I admit. If I had the choice between spending the weekend in yesterday’s mansion or today’s fibro shack I think I’d choose this Little Black Shack. Simple. I mean look at that view!

Nelly says:

Dream home right there! Not just for a weekender. I could live there for sure. I am a very simple person, who likes relaxing spaces, authenticity, honest materials, and laid back living. Tick tick tick! And that view!!!

Åsa, Gothenburg says:

I completly agree, I could live here all year round too! The patio, the fireplace… wow!

Lesley says:

Yes, but. I could not stand that shower and one of us would be stubbing a toe on the rock beside the bed!

loulou ste-adele says:

Total bliss is this place. I love that the owner respect what was there and worked with the beautiful surroundings, leaving the view be the central focus. I hope this place remains out of reach of some mega rich tearing everything down and build another horror.

Janice says:

I'm all in for the little black shack, too!

axie says:

Yes! It's perfect.. I'll take it! I'll even put up with being the one to stub my toes or even fall over and bang my head!

K-Line says:

This may be the perfect cottage.

Beth says:

Totally charmed by this. I'm in!

janice says:

we spent our honeymoon there in 1968,beautiful then
it has restored wonderfully and keep its charm

Marilynn says:

I'm sure it's a million billion now. 😉
