Hotel Saint Cecilia

Jackie Caradonio wrote us yesterday with the following: "I'm always checking out Desire to Inspire for great images and great interiors as I am an interiors/architectural photographer. I love when you showcase great photographers as it gives me something to strive toward. =) Anyway, I photographed this little 14-room hotel in Austin, Texas, called the Hotel Saint Cecilia recently and thought the interiors were so fun that you guys might be interested in taking a look. Lots of original, vintage pieces mixed with new, hip décor. I'd be honored if you guys wanted to show them on the blog." WOWZERS. This hotel is so chic, glamourous and fun, and the photos are fantastic. Thanks so much for sharing these with us Jackie! (Check out her website here).

What a riot of color! And the teeny tiny tile in that bathroom are fabulous...plus I'd happily swim a thousand laps in that pool!

Those raspberry drapes with the huge chandelier totally just made my day (it is quite dreary here in Seattle today).

Okay, I'm sorry, but that red chair/ottoman set on the right, third down, looks like a woman giving birth. Is it meant to be some kind of Rorschach test?

The good: I also love the raspberry color as a backdrop for the chandelier. I need that color in my house now.

I live here! well, 5 miles from the hotel. We were walking through this neighborhood last week, and i've been dying for a peek inside. It's only been open about a month I think.

The videos on the website were disappointing and dark. These photos are amazing. And the colors, wow. Thanks for the inside scoop ladies!

So gorgeous! Love the bold and vibrant colors:)

ooh HELLO! What fabulously original work - great photography too, of course...

The use of color is amazing. Especially that show of the blue headboard againt the black/white damask wallpaper. Very cool.

My sister worked on this project with designer/entrepreneur/Austin local Liz Lambert. I got a sneak peak months ago when they were still in the building stages and I am so amazed by how striking and fabulous Hotel St. Cecilia came out. You should check out Hotel San Jose in Austin as well- another funky creation of Liz Lambert & co.
