Party day

I'd like to wish all my fellow Canadians a Happy Canada Day. On this day I hope you're all hanging out at a cottage consuming exorbitant amounts of beer and having a fun day off. It's supposed to thunderstorm here in the nation's capital which will put a wee bit of a damper (ha) on festivities down at Parliament Hill. Anyhoo, in keeping with the theme of the day, I thought I'd post some photos of red and white spaces. Enjoy - and don't drink and drive kids.

Happy Canada Day!!

I simply adore the red & white spread, Kim!

Incidentally, red & white is also the colour of the Singapore (my adoptive country) flag and in another month (9th August) Singapore will be celebrating her National Day too!

Here's a link to my bit for both Canada Day & Singapore's National Day!

Yes..Happy Canada to you. You confirmed to me today why I love red. The New York & the Tsao & McKown photos are my favorites. You picked a slew up terrific rooms!

I've always loved the combination of white and red. Thank you for sharing these amazing pics with us.

The weather mysteriously ended up PERFECT yesterday. It was such a shock because they had been calling for thunderstorms for the entire week. :) Someone wanted us Ottawans to have a good time it seems.

CANADA DAY WAS SO MUCH FUN! I loved it. Went and wantched fireworks at Kenossee lake with friends.
Anyway, LOVE the red bathtub. But in my plan for a yellow bathroom it might look a little mcdonaldsy.

Stunning use of color. I'm now trying to figure out how I could work red into some aspect of my home decorating.
