Karl Anderson

Take a New Zealander. Wind his career path through Australia, the States, Singapore and land him in Sweden after training with some of the best photographers around and who do you get? Karl Anderson. Love the vibe of these photos. As you can imagine there are influences from all around the world but with his present base that bright white Swedish light shines through in many of these. As for the iconic furniture pieces in a number of these shots, well what can a blogger do but sigh! Great shots, great talent. Images from Karl's website and from his rep's.

I like the first photos very much, although Im not really sure why. It has that thrown together thoughtfully, which I love. The fire place is very interesting. Why does it do that weird jag at the top? The water side photos are also very nice. The floors are perfect. Nice job DTI.

These are really gorgeous, inspiring interiors. I love the poofy beige chairs (5th photo down) as well as the fireplace in the second shot (complete with buiilt-in wood storage) - it's so luxurious-looking. And love the antique-looking chandelier in the last shot. Thanks for sharing!

that lighting fixture about the dining room table is amazing! the dense black one. any info on who designed it? i must know.......

Not sure youhavebeenheresometime, but that looks like a pretty easy DIY project. Get a light kit from Ikea, get a big vintage metal jug/vessel. Find someone to cut the bottom half off. Spray paint it black (and the inside gold!) and VOILA!
