Reader request - industrial kitchens
Fri, 5 Nov 2010Today was a bit of a quiet week so I thought I'd squeeze in another reader request since my list is rather lengthy. This one is from Lee: "Do you any inspiration for industrial looking kitchens, doing a kitchen remodel and like the not so clean put together look." Industrial, not-so-put-together kitchens are my favourites - next to my existing Greentea kitchen that is :) - so I was happy to devour my photo stash on the hunt for some of these types of kitchens. Good luck with your remodel Lee and I hope the following photos help! (P.S. Not that long ago I did a reader request on stainless kitchens which goes with the industrial theme of today's post).

Ohhh.... love me some industrial kitchens. Those first two from Living Etc I've featured myself but it's the third that I really love. Reminds me of a working kitchen in a large estate.

Oh goodness, I gasped when I saw the first photo. I love that rustic wood and crates - such character!
Really love the second kitchen. Stone, timber and white make such a great combo - warm but sleek with that bistro feel.
Does anyone know where to find the sliding panels features in the DWELL photo? The panels slide across the kitchen cabinets? Would love a source!

In Europe also has an industrial-style shop, www.loftdesign.hu/en/, but they do not sell kitchens.
First photo is my favorite, Love the wooden crates!! Also, I think I see a hint of a white AGA in the second photo.
