Reader request - bookshelves

Sigrid from Norway emailed with a reader request that I thought I'd tackle today, because it's an easy one. :) "I love library and rooms and walls full with bookshelves. I would be honoured if you could post some pictures of rooms and walls full with bookshelves." I would give anything to have a library, a room filled with floor to ceiling bookcases to fill with my ever-growing collection of shelter mags and books. I love to see how people cope with their own book and mag collections. Here are some rooms where large collections are easily stored away.

Bookshelves make a room. I used Ikea industrial style Broder shelves to build my library.

I love them all! My husband actually found this and sent it to me - we are eager to creat a space like this in our home and are slowly starting with one large IKEA Expedit shelving system.

I love bookshelves. I have always thought someday I would love a room given over fully to my library. That was what made Disney's Beauty and The Beast work so well for me, that when he wanted to give Belle something that would bowl her over, the beast knew to show her the library.
