Monday's pets on furniture
Mon, 20 Sep 2010If you'd like to send us photos to include in next week's "pets on furniture" post, please ensure your photos follow our basic rules: First, the pet must be on a piece of furniture. And said piece of furniture must be clearly visible in the photo, so it takes center stage rather than your pet. (Think of it more of a photo of a great piece of furniture that you want to show off...and your pet happens to be sitting on it). And second, the photo must be of decent quality. If it's dark or fuzzy (from a camera phone) then it may not make the cut. Thanks! (Photos, your name, location and a brief description can be sent to desiretoinspirekim@hotmail.com and PLEASE don't send me closeups of your pet!)

"I'd like to contribute a couple of photos of our Norwegian forest cat Kharma. Our Spanish leather dining chairs are perfectly curved to qualify as a favourite spot (contrary to most cats, Kharma is not too fond of soft furnishings...). If our outdoors roof staircase can count as 'furniture', that's another favourite..."

"The first picture is of our dog Ziggy on the couch. We think she is a Pit-Bull / Boston Terrier mix (we rescued her when she was about 6 months old, so we don't know for sure). She is almost 3 now. The couch was a lucky craigslist find, and the pillows are from Anthropologie, Target and Urban Outfitters. The second picture is of Ziggy and one of our cats, Maynard on our king-sized bed. The duvet is from Target and the lamp is from Ikea. Maynard was also a rescue and has a lot of personality."

And because I didn't get as many entries as I usually do for today's post, I thought I'd sneak in one of some of my herd. This photo was taken a while back - it's Felix and Lucky (the 2 fatties) on my Ikea baby changetable hack that is STILL most of my 7 cats' favourite place to have a snooze.

Even as someone who has had a pet photo in printed in "Pets on Furniture", this maybe the BEST collection of photos you have printed to date!
Kim, you won't believe this! The Spanish leather dining chair that Kharma (the Swedish cat) is lounging on is exactly the chair we just got in from Spain!!

That Buckley kitty looks just like our cat, Chilli Willy! Where is the owner located? I swear they could have been litter mates!
Some great rooms! The first is gorgeous and you hardly even notice the cat!
And i love those coral chairs.
Moses is my fav this week, but they all look too cute sitting on the furniture.
