Yet more Lucas Allen and some wedding goodies

I seem to have a bit of a stalker crush on Australian photographer Lucas Allen, as I've blogged his work in 2007, 2008 and again today. I've been a huge fan of his work for quite a while, and figured it was about time for round 3. Plus, I spent all day yesterday uploading photos to Flickr that we got back from our wedding photographer (I also tweaked some that my inlaws had taken, and put up a post of my favourite ones on "kim's page"), so I didn't really have time to go poking around for someone new to blog about. Might I also mention how bummed I am that Labour Day weekend, the last long weekend of the summer, is over and winter is right around the corner. UGH!!!

Oh my goodness -- I'm obsessed with that green door! I think I may have to copy. :)

I heart that crown chair!

Great wedding photos, Kim! Your dress was to die for- with those shoes and your necklace- perfect!

Thank you Ann! (Everything I wore was a great score - all cost a little over $500)

Any idea of the fabric on the two chairs flanking the fire place in the first photo. I love it and would like to track it down. Thanks.

That bedside table made of branches is simply gorgeous! Wonder where I can get it from? Thanks.

Hey Kim - thanks as always for the great post. In this one, I especially love the way that Allen uses either eye-catching art , eye-catching colour or a special eye-catching piece to make each space individual. It`s a revelation sometimes how the introduction of one special `moment`in each of these rooms elevates it from just being another well-desigend space to a space that is trully evocative.

Thanks also for posting all of your pics...everyone loves a wedding!

BTW, I wanted to let you know that I plugged D2I in a stimulating exchange I had with Suzanne Dimma. Here`s the link if anyone is interested:

Wow... that Koons 'Puppy' is worth more than everything I own lol. Killer spaces.

Most of all, I like the outdoor space. It's cosy and very romantic.

Love the outdoor scene with its rustic design and simple but elegant lanterns and statue as a focal point. Reminds me of a vacation spot I visited as a child.
