Happy New Year! 2010 was a good year for Kim and me. Kim got married. I bought a house. Our blog grew and grew. Yes it was a good year. I think 2011 will be too. I'm never one for resolutions. I last about a week if I am lucky before all my good intentions fly out the window. You too? This year though I resolve to take my time, to slow down, to enjoy. Both of us have full time jobs and the blog is almost becoming one as well. Wouldn't it be wonderful to have the luxury of ditching the day job and blogging full time? A girl can dream. Kim and I are going to take the weekends off for January. We are going to relax, slow down, enjoy. More likely we are going to repair, paint, plan extensions and renovate but we'll have our weekends to ourselves .... that's the resolution. Ha! I wonder how long it will take for one of us to break it? Kim is already saying that she might do the occasional favourite blog post. I have quite a few WINK worthy products that have come in over the past few weeks. We will both be posting on our own personal pages. Come visit us there. Just click on the tabs above to take you to Kim's page or Jo's page. What resolutions have you made? More importantly how long is it before you break them?

Your blog is not only well designed, it's a pleasure to read, and the frequency keeps me enticed and, ok I admit it, addicted! ;) Good luck to you both in 2011!

My first resolution is to get to bed and get up earlier. How hard can that be? :o

Trying to take time off on the weekends in January is good idea, although you will be missed! But lets see if you can really stay away :) I wish you the best in 2011 and looking forward to amazing inspiration from both of you. xoxo

I really do love your blog, ladies, really and truly.
You must take time for yourselves, because no one is going to give it to you.
And if it means you will keep on with the quality of the blog (don't I sound pompous?), go for it. (Even tho it will ruin MY weekends, go for it, I can take it. Don't mind me, dry crusts of bread will do....)
Happy Happy New Year to both of you from a devoted follower.

ps I don't make resolutions any longer, it makes for one less disappointment.
BUT, if I were to make a resolution, it would be to stop buying stuff I don't need at the flea markets.
And that's why I won't make resolutions? Impossible to keep!

Happy new year...from the tour eiffel PARIS....

Ahhhhh yes, good 'ole resolutions. I've spent allll kinds of time thinking about them this year. For me, it's become mostly about letting go. Seriously, if I told you how much time I spent trying to control things, you'd think I have a whole lot of extra time on my hands. So yes, my resolution is to let go of resolutions. Hmmm, wonder how much time I'll spend contemplating this notion? It's a vicious cycle.

Happy new year! I'm one of those weird people who LOVE and for the most part stick to resolutions. Some highlights: try to cook vietnamese food, and attempt sewing.
