Sam McAdam

Grey days, heavy rain, raging waters and dark times in my part of the world. Perhaps some beauty from Australian photographer Sam McAdam. Simple, classic, inspiring. One of our premier editorial photographers. I want to wax lyrical about this portfolio but I have to rush. Water is rising. We are safe but my city is not. Keep us in your thoughts.

Hi Jo, I'm a long time lurker and fan of the website. Have never posted before but I just wanted to say that I hope you and your family continue to be safe. Take care! (And I can't believe you're still posting - good on you)!

Hi Jo

As a fellow Aussie who wakes up to your amazing blog with such gratitude each day, I am thinking of you and your family at this horrendous time. I am so glad you're OK.

My thoughts are with you and your family and my hope is that the rain stops and the waters subside. I have a sister in Brisbane so it's close to home for me too.x

Best wishes to you and your wonderful and beautiful country. Thanks for all you do.

Oh gosh, I'm so worried about Australia. I hope the water goes down soon and that the damage won't be too unimaginably tragic. Thank you for sharing these lovely, earthy home photos with us. Take care!

Stay safe Jo! I'm glad you aren't in one of the worst-hit areas.

Keep your spirit up Jo. The flood affected people and the wonderful emergency services and volunteers are never out of our thoughts during this dismal time in Australias history. If only we could send you sandbags.
stay safe xox

Jo-
I live in San Francisco and although this is my first post, your blog is always a highlight of my day. I have been thinking of your country, but especially you, your family, and friends. Great to hear you are all safe. Thank you for posting and I am hoping for the best.
