White light Parisian bright

Ah bliss! Paris home of Australian fashion design Martin Grant. White. Tick. Aged timber. Tick. Midcentury and thrift finds. Tick. Licks of colour. Tick. Beauty but nothing too, too precious. Tick. Brilliant feature from new fav site Vårtnya Hem. Tick. Packing bags. Tick. Invading unknown Aussie expat's home. Tick tick.

I LOVE those exposed beams! The colors are so serene too. Yes I could be very much at home here.

I love the chair and the sofa in the living room. At least I think I love the sofa, it's one of those items that makes you think - are those armrests amazing or a little odd. The light in this place is beautiful.

Wow, this is nice!

Okay, if anyone has read any of my comments in the past you'll probably be sick of reading this from me, but I LOVE ALL THE WHITE!! Thank you so so much for this blog... because of you, Jo, and so many other amazing designer/home blogs out there, I have an idea and am inspired as to what my future home will look like.. and how I want to make it uniquely mine. Thank you! Also, for this home.. not only is the white amazing, but so are all of the visible beams. I love that! It's as if showing a bit of soul of the house/home.

I love this!! I love the feng shui of all the white with the accents of green apples/plants and pink flowers....I hope my future home looks like that one day :)

Beautiful. I especially love the scale of pieces within the space. Airy but still cozy.
LOVE the kitchen. Wow that stove rocks! Great post.

I'm loving the white walls! It's like having a blank canvas ready to be splashed with color! Thanks for the post!

Stunning home! Everything just goes pop against the serene white walls and timber flooring.

Just wish I could navigate my way around the Vartnya Hem website better!!

Thanks for posting yet another beautiful home.

Lea I'm still stalking. Just not finding anything fabulous at the moment. It slowed for Christmas and the market hasn't come back on the boil yet so no cute homes around. Don't worry when I find one it will go on here straight away.
