Finish the week just as it was started with beautiful pictures of inspiring rooms. Remember my post on KO Studio? The photographer of those golden delights is Yann Deret and of course I had to share more of his portfolio. There is a certain something, is there not, about his work? Elegant and refrained, simply seductive. Except when it is vibrant and fun! High end or low, moody and modern, white, bright and punchy, Yann Deret captures it all through his lens and presents us with the dream space.

I really like the white and blue cupboard...I saw a lot of them during my thrifting tours -originals from the early XX century- that needed to be refurbished though.
The effect is great and the combination of cages and cage-style lamps is really funy!

These spaces are all very creative if wildly different. Its like me, I tend to like very different interiors for different reasons. I love the North African place and the fun shoe storage.

I get a very 60's vibe from the staging and lighting in these photographs. Some of it is the tilt used, and a bit is the selective burn-outs. You get a very clear feeling about the depth, and the sheer expanse of air in the spaces - very interesting.
