Monday's pets on furniture
Mon, 19 Nov 2012If you'd like to send me photos to include in next week's "pets on furniture" post, please ensure your photos follow my basic rules: First, the pet must be on a piece of furniture. And said piece of furniture must be clearly visible in the photo, so it takes center stage rather than your pet. Think of it more of a photo of a great piece of furniture that you want to show off...and your pet happens to be sitting on it. And second, the photo must be of decent quality. If it's dark or fuzzy then it may not make the cut. Photos, your name, location and a brief description can be sent to desiretoinspirekim@hotmail.com and PLEASE don't send closeups of your pet! Thanks!
I sent you a picture you featured of our Great Dane squeezing onto the same chair. Apparently our dogs like to squish! Hope your readers will enjoy.

This is my dog Oliver sitting on my favorite (and his favorite) chair. The chair was my grandfather's and purchased some time in the 40's. My grandfather had it in his bedroom since he bought it, and until the day he died in 2009. It was one of few things that I requested from his house. It is special to me because it belonged to him, and now it is also special because Oliver has claimed it. I like to think it makes my grandfather happy to know that this little dog likes his chair so much! :)

Lindsay, what kind of pup is Oliver? We just adopted a terrier mix through westie rescue that looks identical to Oliver and we're trying to figure out what breed he is... :)
