A renovated fisherman's cottage
I saw this article online at The Guardian (UK) and was instantly wowed. It's a completely renovated Scottish fisherman's cottage that is so old it was extended in 1809 to fit accommodations. After a major architectural makeover inside and out, and with the use of reclaimed materials and vintage furniture, it's now a funky mix of old and new, rustic and modern. mmmm .... wood and stone and shades of driftwood ...
This is beautiful, the use of old materials and the contrast between rough and clean: I like it very much. Only the use of pink and mint on the walls I would have avoided, but other than that: wonderful!
