Before the weekend begins (YES!!), I thought you might enjoy some Swedish room porn care of Hus & Hem. And for those northern folks like myself and unlike Jo, enjoy the reasonable termperatures before they turn to sh*t!!

Coveting some of the lighting. Oh where, oh where could I find a lamp like the one in photo # 6? And I must get a Morrocan lamp like the one in the last photo.
I was imagining a long Swedish Winter in each of these rooms and I think they all passed the test.

I love all of these rooms- except the first!
I can't stand the bathroom.
Shockingly enough, it is not the pink tiles on the wall, nor the mint light fixtures & sink - I actually like those elements. The little pops of color are beautiful.
It is the bad tiling on the floor, the exposed plastic pipes and the Donald Duck floaty on the wall.
This could be a sort of sweet, glamorous vintage bath - but those flaws take it into an anxiety-inducing level of tacky for me.
I don't want to be a negative Nellie - the other spaces are great. I particularly admire how the Swedish can pull off modern and spare while still retaining a coziness and a feeling of not having "tried too hard."
Sorry but nothing Swedish interior wise appeals to me. It's always white and black with clumsy and random spots of color here and there with so-called modern furniture that often isn't very modern at all.. They are also almost always lacking any inviting warmth.
